Hi, I’m Dawn Thompson. I’m an award-winning author, minister, and speaker.
I see so many Christian women pouring into everyone else, yet their own dreams remain buried.
I help women uncover their spiritual gifts, create balance, and build a Christ-centered plan so they can finally step into what God is calling them to do.
Mission
I am dedicated to empower adults and children to discover and develop their God-given gifts so they can live with purpose, faith, and confidence in whom they were created to be. Through storytelling, teaching, and encouragement rooted in Scripture, I guide others toward healing, growth, and spiritual transformation.
Vision
To inspire generations of women and readers of all ages to live with purpose, creativity, and faith. I strive to nurture hearts through God’s Word, cultivate gifts for His glory, and create a legacy where every story — written, painted, or lived — reflects the beauty of His design.
HELLO,
I'm Dawn Thompson
Dawn Thompson is a writer, speaker, and ordained minister whose life’s work centers on restoring hope, building strong families, and empowering children to thrive. With a BA in Theology and more than 35 years in ministry, Dawn has served in nearly every role within the church while also dedicating her professional life to child welfare. She currently works with a global child advocacy organization that helps children around the world find safe, loving homes.
A gifted storyteller, Dawn is the author of several children’s books including Barnyard Bully, Double Trouble, Sedwick the Seagull, and Celebrate Diversity. Her stories address real-life challenges such as bullying, family dynamics, self-worth, fear, disabilities, and embracing diversity. Each book has been met with positive reviews for its heart, wisdom, and ability to speak directly to the needs of young readers. Dawn has also written for various faith-based publications including Right to Life and the Pentecostal Church of God Messenger.

Beyond her writing, Dawn has spent her life mentoring and nurturing the next generation. She has been a foster parent to teens, served on multiple community boards, launched teen centers, and developed mentor and volunteer training programs designed to equip young people with the tools they need to live full and abundant lives.
As a pastor and pastor’s wife, Dawn has ministered in churches of all sizes and supported families in every season. Her personal journey includes being a biological mother, stepmother, foster parent, educator, and community leader — all while continuing to build a ministry and a career rooted in compassion, purpose, and service.
Dawn’s heart remains the same through every chapter of her life: to uplift, encourage, and empower both children and adults. She continues to write, speak, and serve with the intention of helping others discover their God-given value and live the life they were created for
